Our Discovery
In 1992, we discovered a critical gap in access to quality agricultural inputs across Burundi. Farmers were eager to grow, but lacked the tools and support to succeed. That realization sparked the beginning of Avet Intrants Agricoles—a company built to connect farmers with reliable seeds, crop protection, and equipment. What started as a local initiative has grown into a trusted partner for thousands of farmers across East Africa.

When I founded Avet Intrants Agricoles in 1992, my vision was simple: to help farmers grow—grow their crops, their businesses, and their futures. I saw firsthand how limited access to quality agricultural inputs was holding back our communities. That’s when I knew change was needed.
From a small shop in Burundi to a regional presence across East Africa, Avet has grown because we stayed true to that mission. Today, we proudly serve thousands of farmers and agro-dealers with the same commitment to quality, trust, and partnership.
